Book Direct You are currently pregnant or have had a baby; most likely in the last 12 months but may be longer (that’s fine too!). You want to feel strong, toned and confident in your body but don’t know what to do in terms of exercise or how to exercise safely based on where you are right now. You might already go to lots of birth preparation or baby focussed classes but you aren’t doing anything to look after yourself right now. You sometimes feel guilty about spending money on yourself (especially as maternity pay is rubbish!) but you know that if you don’t take care of your body now, you’ll just be storing up problems for later. How can post natal pilates help you? – how to align your body and correct your own posture to reduce aches and pains – whether you have Diastasis Recti and how to manage it – the Lateral Breathing Technique; fundamental to all Pilates exercises and aids relaxation – Core and Pelvic Floor Engagement; necessary for the correct execution of all exercises – how to safely mobilise your joints and stretch your muscles to make everyday movements easier – a variety of exercises to strengthen and tone your whole body with options to cover all abilities – how to use small equipment safely to enhance your practice – that you can be a fit, strong Mum or Mum-to-be!
